Sensitive industries and restricted industries
Itaú Unibanco’s Environmental, Social and Climate Risks management includes an individualized and in-depth assessment methodology for industries with higher potential to cause impacts of this nature, providing more accuracy to the Bank in credit granting and the pricing. Additionally, some strategies for gradual reduction of Itaú’s credit exposure or financing restrictions are applied to clients and/or transactions from restricted industries.
