Gender Equality Initiatives
We have been a signatory to the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) since 2017. Among our various actions to promote diversity, Among our various actions to promote diversity, we instituted measures to ensure that women were paid fully on maternity leave, that selection processes included at least one woman as evaluator and another as a candidate, that awareness of diversity was increased among employees, that our work with gender-equity affinity groups increased at the institutional level and in specific areas such as technology and wholesale banking and that there was a mentorship program for female leadership.
Through the Positive Impact Commitment agenda, we have signalled our commitment to this agenda in the Inclusive Management Commitment, which has, among its objectives, the goal of increasing the number of women in leadership positions. As a highlight in 2020, we had a great advance in our trainee program, in which we reached more than 63% of selected women (versus 47% from the previous year).
