Clients can open an international account with one click and make transactions in dollars and euros 24 hours a day, without leaving the Itaú Personnalité app.
São Paulo, December 2025 – Itaú Personnalité announces the launch of the Global Account, a new international solution integrated into the bank’s Superapp. This innovation gives clients a seamless and frictionless experience throughout their travel journey and planning, offering an international debit card for transactions in dollars and euros. The card is accepted in over 180 countries and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, within the same app where clients already manage their finances.
The Global Account was created to meet the needs of increasingly demanding clients who seek convenience, security, and predictability in foreign currency transactions when planning and taking trips. The entire journey — operated by Avenue — has been integrated into Itaú’s ecosystem, maintaining the robustness, trust, and simplicity of interactions within the Personnalité Superapp. With this account, clients can open it with a single click and manage the international debit card without needing to access Avenue’s app, benefiting from immediate currency exchange at competitive market rates.

The solution is now available for a selected group of Itaú Personnalité clients and will be gradually expanded. The international debit card offers greater predictability for international expenses, allowing clients to purchase dollars or euros in advance and take advantage of favorable exchange rates. All conversions are subject to an IOF tax of 3.5%. With a dollar balance, clients can make transactions in various currencies, with a conversion rate applied at the time of purchase. If desired, it is also possible to convert the amount back to reais quickly, simply, and intuitively.
How to Access
The experience is available through shortcuts in the accounts hub and currency exchange area of the Itaú Personnalité app. Just select Global Account; after opening the account, it is possible to view balances, add money, convert currencies, issue a virtual card, and add it to digital wallets. There is no minimum required amount to purchase dollars or euros. All transactions can be monitored in real time within the app, which displays the available balance and transaction history — organized in a dedicated Global Account statement.
To add funds, simply click “Add Balance” and convert reais from your checking account to dollars or euros — all within a single app, with no need to transfer funds. The process was designed to be simple and straightforward, allowing the entire operation to be completed within the app, with no additional downloads required. The feature can also be found by searching “Global Account” in the main menu.
The arrival of the Global Account is part of Itaú’s travel ecosystem, which already offers a range of solutions to make every stage of the client’s travel experience easier.
Itaú Personnalité clients can manage their entire travel finances from start to finish directly within the Superapp, with services such as purchasing airline tickets, buying dollars and euros in cash for pick-up at branches and Investment Centers or at Banco24horas foreign currency ATMs, and purchasing travel insurance in a 100% digital journey. Additionally, Itaú Personnalité offers travel conveniences such as an exclusive valet at Guarulhos Airport (Terminals 2 and 3), access to partner VIP lounges at airports worldwide, and soon, access to Itaú’s exclusive VIP lounge at Guarulhos, scheduled to open in the first half of 2026.
