Historical series Itaú launches íon Edu, its free education platform for investments
The objective is to grant people more knowledge and security in their decision-making when investing.
On December 5, 2022, Itaú officially launched its free education platform for investors, íon Edu. It was created with the aim of giving people more knowledge and security when investing.
The platform provides classes that are available in video, divided into modules and taught by specialists from Itaú, Itaú Asset, Itaú BBA, and partner institutions such as Kinea.
One of the differentials of íon Edu is that it brings together theory and practice in each topic addressed. It shows the participants of the classes how to apply the knowledge acquired, making content tangible with examples.
By the end of 2023, the platform should have 30 courses available, with content aimed at people who already invest as well as those looking to start investing.
“We believe that íon Edu, along with other initiatives we have underway, can play an important role in democratizing access to investment products, allowing more autonomy and knowledge in the investor’s journey so they can make safer decisions in this regard,” says Claudio Sanches, Director of Investment and Pension Products at Itaú Unibanco. “The knowledge can open doors for the constitution of diversified investment portfolios, in line with the profiles of each investor, being one more step to help people reach their goals.”
The platform will be in a testing period until mid-April 2023, a period in which the bank intends to obtain opinions and evaluations to continue its constant improvement and joint construction with users.
