Itaú Empresas launches ‘Radar de Risco’, a credit score consultation tool for SMEs

Integrated into companies’ accounts and available on the bankline, the product is offered in partnership with Quod and is intended to help small and medium-sized companies make safer decisions when conducting sales, avoiding delinquency and enabling them to sell more and better.

June 2024 – Itaú Unibanco, in partnership with Quod, a data intelligence company, announces the launch of ‘Radar de Risco’ (Risk Radar), a solution that allows small and medium-sized companies to check the risk of their customers and suppliers directly on Itaú Empresas’ internet banking. The initiative aims to help SMEs in the credit analysis process, improving safety and helping to avoid delinquency – allowing companies to sell more and better.

With Risk Radar, Itaú Empresas’ clients have access to a detailed view of the risk associated with sales to individuals and companies, bringing greater confidence, predictability of payments, and transparency. Among the solution’s features are the business suggestion, which recommends whether or not to conduct a transaction with the profile consulted, and the risk score, which ranges from very high to very low. The tool also suggests the ideal conditions for sales, management decisions and other commercial demands, based on business indicators (payment punctuality, indebtedness and market relations), and allows confirmation of registration data.

“The solution reinforces the Itaú Empresas product range, giving SMEs more confidence and security in risk management, which in practice allows for better business decisions and protects the financial health of companies,” says Michel Cury, director of products and guarantees at Itaú Unibanco.

Radar de Risco can be purchased by Itaú Empresas’ customers via internet banking. It is possible to choose between pre-paid packages, with specific quantities of simple consultations – which show the degree of risk and the reasons for it – and complete ones, which provide various other pieces of information to support decision-making, such as the score of the CPF or CNPJ consulted, registration data, presumed billing or income, business suggestions and pending financial issues, and more.
