Itaú BBA’s Agro Governance Academy launches new module 
Platform offers free content to support, encourage and guide the entire agricultural sector in adopting best governance practices 
 
São Paulo, July 1, 2024 – The Agro Governance Academy of Itaú BBA, a platform aimed at clients and non-clients of the agribusiness sector, has launched its third module. This phase will show how rural producers from different regions of the country apply the good practices, tools and techniques of management and governance presented in theory in the previous “Governance Trail” and “Governance Prose” phases. 
 
With this module, Itaú BBA goes into the field to understand how rural producers, who have become a benchmark in governance, have achieved their current robustness and what challenges they have faced in business over time. In total, there will be six episodes covering topics such as succession, risk management and human resources management. 
 
The first module of the Academy, “Governance Track”, provided a solid theoretical foundation in business management, including cost organization and human resources practices. In the next module, “Governance Prose”, Itaú BBA delivered a series of videos featuring specialized professionals to improve users’ knowledge of topics important to producers, such as estate planning, controls and policies, taxation, ESG, land acquisition and leasing. Now consolidated as a benchmark for content in the sector, the Academy enters its third phase with a practical and consultative vision, listening to leading producers. 
 
The new phase will be inaugurated by the Milla family, owners of Ernest Milla Agrícola, who will explain the positive effects of governance on the succession of their property.
