Itaú Unibanco is included in the 2026 portfolio of the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index among the top-performing companies

February 2026 – For the second consecutive year, Itaú Unibanco, the largest private bank in Latin America, ranks among the top 10% in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), which we have been part of for more than 25 years.

The Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), serves as a reference for investors when evaluating sustainability indicators. Created in 1999, its questionnaire is periodically updated to reflect evolving market demands on topics related to economic, governance, environmental, climate, and social issues.

The portfolio released in 2026 is made up of 848 qualified companies, global leaders in sustainability, representing 59 economic sectors in 45 countries worldwide, with the banking sector including 64 companies.

In the Brazilian scenario, 28 companies from various segments were selected, with Itaú Unibanco being the only Latin American bank to be included in this important sustainability index’s portfolio consistently since its inception.

In addition to being present in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) portfolio, Itaú Unibanco is also listed among “A” rated companies in the CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project), has participated in the B3 Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) since 2005, the B3 Diversity Index (IDIVERSA B3), and the B3 Efficient Carbon Index (ICO2 B3), and maintains growing performance in the main ESG rating agencies such as Sustainalytics, LSEG ESG, and FTSE Russel.

Participation in these indexes represents our ongoing commitment to ethics, transparency, and sustainability, and is the result of joint work from various areas of Itaú Unibanco. This is just another step toward our ambition to be the Climate Transition Bank for our clients, and we will continue advancing toward this goal.
