Historical series Itaú Unibanco expands crypto asset portfolio on Superapp and íon
São Paulo, August, 2025 – Itaú Unibanco announces that clients are able to trade new crypto assets directly on the bank’s Superapp or on the íon investment platform. This addition expands the available investment options, which now include Aave, Avalanche, Chainlink, Polygon, and Litecoin.
Trading for these new crypto assets follows the same process already familiar to clients: an intuitive journey, a secure environment, and the same trading conditions – a minimum investment of R$10.00 with no monthly fees or future charges upon sale. This is another move by Itaú Unibanco guided by client needs in the face of the new tokenized economy.
Since 2023, the bank’s portfolio already included Bitcoin and Ethereum. In April 2025, the bank made additional assets available: XRP, Solana, and USDC – a stablecoin pegged to the dollar. Now, five more have been added: Aave, Avalanche, Chainlink, Polygon, and Litecoin, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to offering comprehensive solutions for those seeking diversification in digital assets.
