New non-earmarked loans increase in September

Overall delinquency remained stable at 3.0%. Average interest rates and spreads declined.

The Brazilian Central Bank released today the credit figures for September. The daily average of new loans rose 3.4% mom/sa in real terms in the non-earmarked segment but declined 11.0% for earmarked loans (after climbing 17.5% in the previous period). Overall delinquency remained stable at 3.0%. Average interest rates and spreads declined.
