Delinquency in non-earmarked corporate loans decreases again

The daily average of new loans rose 0.2% mom/sa in real terms for the non-earmarked segment

The Brazilian Central Bank released today the credit figures for August. The daily average of new loans rose 0.2% mom/sa in real terms for the non-earmarked segment and soared 16.0% for earmarked loans. Overall delinquency was virtually unchanged at 3.0%, with delinquency in non-earmarked loans receding again among non-financial corporations. Average interest rates were stable while average spreads declined.
